Transportation

Munich has an extensive network of underground lines that will take you just everywhere easily and fast. You can use either the metro lines of U-Bahn that cross nearly the entire city or the urban railway lines of S-Bahn. And even at night there are no limits on your transportation as there are numerous night buses and trains. Maps of Munich’s extensive transportation network can be found in any train or tram station. Moreover, the main railway station is Munich Hauptbahnhof and the main Aiport of the city is Franz Josef Strauss International Airport. Two lines of the S-Bahn S8 from the east and S1 from the west are connecting the city with the airport.
